REMAND IN CUSTODY PROPOSED FOR POLISH CITIZEN
30.07.2026. 11:54Remand in custody was proposed for the reasons prescribed in Article 132, paragraph 1, items a) and c) of the CPC BiH, namely due to the risk of flight and the risk that the suspect could repeat the criminal offense or complete the one he commenced if released. He is suspected of having committed, on 28 July between 03:00 and 05:00 hrs. in the area of Međugorje, the criminal offense of Damage or Demolition of Religious Facilities under Article 145b of the Criminal Code of BiH, as well as Inciting National, Racial and Religious Hatred, Discord or Intolerance under Article 163, paragraph 2, and Causing Public Danger under Article 323, paragraph 1, of the Criminal Code of FBiH
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
