The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina organized the signing of the Agreement between the representatives of the prosecutor’s offices and police authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

  • CHIEF PROSECUTOR PARTICIPATED IN THE SIGNING OF THE AGREEMENT ON ADOPTION AND APPLICATION OF INSTRUCTIONS ON PROCEDURE AND COOPERATION OF POLICE OFFICERS AND PROSECUTORS IN EVIDENCE COLLECTION DURING THE INVESTIGATION

The signing ceremony was also attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps in BiH, including the Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation in BiH, H.E. Andre E. Schaller. The agreement was signed by prosecutors from the State, Entity and Brčko District of BiH level, Security Minister and the Heads of Police Authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

 

The aim of this agreement is to improve the mechanisms of cooperation and coordination between prosecutor’s offices and police during criminal investigations.

 

The signing is the result of a project implemented by HJPC "Support to judiciary in Bosnia and Herzegovina-Strengthening prosecutors in the criminal justice system ", which is supported by the Government of Switzerland through the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
