OFFICIALS OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH AND SIPA HELD A MEETING
10.06.2013. 15:32Representatives of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and SIPA met in Sarajevo. The meeting was attended by the Chief Prosecutor - Goran Salihović and Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency - Goran Zubac, with their associates.
Cooperation of the Prosecutor’s Office and SIPA in dealing with war crimes, organized crime, corruption and terrorism cases were discussed at the meeting as well as improvement of cooperation aiming to achieve the best possible results in the future.
During the meeting, the parties agreed about the modalities for effective communication and removal of any difficulties that may occur during operations.
The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and SIPA have investigated and prosecuted the most serious criminal offenses of organized crime, war crimes and corruption for more than a decade now, and the joint efforts of the two institutions have achieved significant results where a number of perpetrators of the aforementioned criminal offences were indicted and prosecuted.
Working in the interest of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the path towards the European integration, the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and SIPA shall continue with activities in the fight against the most complex forms of crime.
Cooperation with partner agencies in the region, Europe and the world shall also be strengthened in the future aiming for a more efficiently fight against cross-border crime.
