Prosecutor of the Department III has issued an Indictment against E.H., born on 06 June 1987 in Tuzla, resident of Srebrenik Municipality, citizen of BiH, for the criminal offense of Customs Fraud.
Representatives of the Prosecutor's Office and the Court of BiH participated in a round table in Livno, which was organized with the aim of presenting the background, organization and the work of the Court and the Prosecutor's Office of BiH to local communities throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.
These activities pertain to searches and deprivation of liberty of a person suspected of the criminal offenses of Counterfeiting of Money and Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs.
Pursuant to the Order issued by a Prosecutor of the Department III of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, authorized law enforcement officers of the BiH State Investigation and Protection Agency – SIPA and members of the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH - Sarajevo Regional Center, assisted by authorized police officers of the Ministry of the Interior of the Central Bosnia Canton, are conducting investigative activities at the three locations in the territory of the municipalities of Fojnica and Kiseljak, aimed at detection and criminal prosecution of persons suspected of criminal offenses of Tax Evasion or Fraud, as referred to in Article 210 of the Criminal Code of BiH and Unauthorized Storage of Goods, as referred to in Article 210b of the same Code.
At the site of Glavica-Crniče, Bugojno area, an exhumation is resumed under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
Prosecutor of the Department III has issued an Indictment against Dražen Keško, born on 27 November 1968 in Zenica, where he also resides, citizen of BiH, officer of the Indirect Taxation Authority in Banja Luka, Banja Luka Regional Center, employed as an Assistant Customs Officer at the Border Crossing in Brod, for Illegal Withholding of Identity Papers.
In view of the fact that the recent events in Tuzla which resulted in severe breach of security are linked with the unlawful pardons that are subject of investigation of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH in the Budimir et al.
case, the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH is of opinion that such a development of the situation is expected due to the large number of perpetrators of serious crimes who are at large as a consequence of unlawful pardoning.
Mr. Goran Salihović, Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, met with H.E. Nigel Casey, Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
As ordered by a Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption, authorized police officials of the RS Ministry of the Interior and Judicial Police of BiH are conducting investigative activities in Doboj area as part of the Arka
action aimed at detecting and prosecuting persons suspected of international smuggling of a larger amount of narcotic drugs.
The main topics of the meeting pertained to the prosecutorial work and mission in establishing the rule of law in BiH and Serbia, as well as strengthening cooperation between partner institutions and future mutual cooperation.
