PERSON ACCUSED OF CRIMINAL OFFENSE OF SMUGGLING OF PERSONS PLEADS GUILTY UNDER PLEA AGREEMENT

The accused Senahid Rustemović*, born in 1955 in Kladanj, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has entered into a plea agreement, pleading guilty to the criminal offense of Smuggling of Persons under Article 189, Paragraphs 1 and 4 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in conjunction with Article 26 of the same Code. A one-year prison sentence has been proposed for the accused, along with the confiscation of items used in the commission of the criminal offense, including mobile phones, SIM cards, and a passenger motor vehicle. Unlawful material gain acquired through the criminal offense in the amount of 4,000 euros was confiscated from the accused. The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has reviewed the plea agreement and accepted it, sentencing the accused.
