  • PERSON CHARGED OF ILLICIT TRAFFICKING OF NARCOTIC DRUGS PLEADED GUILTY

The accused Vlastimir Tomić, born in 1960 in Valjevo, a citizen of the Republic of Serbia, fully pleaded guilty to the perpetrated criminal offence of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs in violation of Article 195 (2) as read with Paragraph (1), and all in conjunction with Article 54 of the Criminal Code of BiH, and to the criminal offence of Smuggling in violation of Article 214 (1), all in conjunction with Article 53 of the same Code.

The Prosecution proposes the imposition of a single sentence of one year and two months of imprisonment, and the proposed punishment is consistent with the role of the accused in the perpetration of the criminal offence described in the indictment.

Also, in accordance with the agreement, the funds used for the commission of the criminal offence, including a cell phone, a SIM card and 1 kilo of foliar fertilizer - Agrostemin, will be taken away from the accused.

The accused is obliged to compensate for the amount of a total of KM (BAM) 400, which he acquired through sale of narcotic drugs.

By a guilty plea agreement, the accused undertook to testify about all the facts known to him in this criminal case and about all perpetrators, co-perpetrators and accomplices in the commission of these criminal offenses, who are known to him, and also about the criminal offenses in which they took part.

Under this agreement, the accused confirms that he is giving a guilty plea statement voluntary, consciously and with the understanding of legal consequences, without any compulsion or persuasion, and that he will bear the costs of the criminal proceedings which will, depending on the complexity of the proceedings, be determined by the Court of BiH.

By the guilty plea agreement, the accused fully admitted the responsibility for the perpetrated criminal offence and waived his right to trial, as well as the right to appeal the judgment imposed on him by the Court of BiH under the agreement.

The agreement was forwarded to the Court of BiH.
