THE ACCUSED NENAD PETROVIĆ ENTERED INTO A PLEA AGREEMENT ADMITTING GUILT. NINE MONTHS OF IMPRISONMENT AND CONFISCATION OF UNLAWFULLY ACQUIRED MATERIAL GAIN PROPOSED AS PUNISHMENT
25.03.2015. 15:26The accused Nenad Petrović, born on 22 March 1966 in Sarajevo, a resident of Istočno Sarajevo, has concluded the Plea Agreement with the Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Pursuant to the Plea Agreement, the Prosecutor and the aforementioned accused person agree that the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina impose the sentence of imprisonment for a term of nine (9) months on the aforementioned accused, as punishment for the committed criminal offense.
By virtue of signing the Plea Agreement, this accused person has fully admitted the commission of the criminal offense of Embezzlement in Office, as referred to in Article 221 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, for which he is charged by the Indictment of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina dated 19 December 2014.
The accused Nenad Petrović is an employee of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, working as a clerk specialist for the execution of criminal sanctions and recording of the seized objects.
Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina proposes that the unlawful material gain, which this accused person acquired by the commission of the said criminal offense together with the accused Mića Trifković, be confiscated from the accused.
By signing the Plea Agreement, the accused has confirmed to have entered his plea of guilty voluntarily, consciously and with understanding.
With this Plea Agreement, the accused has waived his right to a trial and right to appeal to the sentence pronounced against him by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the basis of this Plea Agreement.
The Plea Agreement has been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
