INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR THE CRIMINAL OFFENSE OF UNAUTHORIZED STORAGE OF GOODS
The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued an indictment against Jovica Savić*, aka ‘Talijan’ /The Italian/, born in 1973 in Travnik. He is charged with keeping a larger amount of tobacco in the house he uses, in the area of Bratunac, although he does not grow or produce tobacco, nor does he have a contract concluded for the production of tobacco with the tax paid in accordance with VAT provisions.
The accused is charged to have committed the criminal offense of Unauthorized Storage of Goods, referred to in Article 210b, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
CUSTODY PROPOSED FOR A CITIZEN OF MONTENEGRO SUSPECTED OF ILLICIT TRAFFICKING IN NARCOTIC DRUGS
The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has put forward a motion for custody with the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina in relation to the suspect U.D.*, born in 2000 in Podgorica, a citizen of Montenegro. On 18 August, the said suspect was deprived of liberty at the Hum border crossing by the police officers of the BiH Border Police, on which occasion about 13 kilograms of the marijuana narcotic drug were found in the vehicle he was driving. The custody measure was proposed for the reasons stipulated in Article 132, paragraph 1, item a) of the Criminal Procedure Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, that is, due to the risk of flight, since the suspect is a foreign citizen. The aforementioned suspect is subject to investigation for the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs, referred to in Article 195 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
