As part of the international conference of prosecutors, which is being held in Madrid, the Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milanko Kajganić has taken part in the activities aimed at strengthening communication, as well as institutional and operational cooperation of the prosecutor’s offices of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Western Balkans with the prosecutor’s offices in Latin America, particularly in cases pertaining to combating organized international crime and trafficking in narcotic drugs.
Given that the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina is already working on cases in which connections of suspects from Bosnia and Herzegovina or their stay in South America have been established, Chief Prosecutor Kajganić has participated as a panelist in a working session dedicated to strengthening institutional and operational cooperation between the prosecutor’s offices of the Western Balkans and Latin American countries.
The international meeting of prosecutors is being held within the framework of the EL PACCTO 2.0 project and as part of the strengthening of institutional cooperation between prosecutor’s offices, with the support of EUROJUST and the Western Balkans Criminal Justice Project (WBCJ).
