INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST 10 PERSONS* FOR WAR CRIMES AGAINST CIVILIANS IN HRASNICA AREA

The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH issued an indictment against the following persons: 

1. Enes Zukanović, born in 1958 in Rogatica
2. Fikret Prevljak, born in 1961 in Ilidža 
3. Emir Redžović, born in 1967 in Sarajevo
4. Vahid Alađuz, born in 1958 in Hadžići
5.  Rasim Okerić, born in 1948 in Gacko
6.  Mustafa Gagaj, born in 1957 in Sarajevo
7.  Mujo Vatreš, born in 1953 in Rogatica
8.  Vahid Muharemović, born in 1949 in Višegrad
9.  Mirsad Tuzlak, born in 1972 in Foča
10.  Senahid Godinjak, born in 1971 in Trnovo

The indictees are charged with committing war crimes against Ethnic Serb victims from the areas of Hrasnica, Butmir and Sokolović Kolonija, while acting in their capacities as commanders and members of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

They are charged with crimes against about a hundred Ethnic Serb civilians, including women, elderly people and minors, who were illegally detained in camps and detention facilities in the Hrasnica area, as well as crimes against Ethnic Serb prisoners, who were taken to forced labor in the war zone, where they were exposed to mortal injuries and wounds, or were killed by guards.

The indictees are charged with the criminal offense of War Crimes against Civilians under Article 173 and War Crimes against Prisoners of War under Article 175 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
