A group of students from the Faculty of Criminal Justice, Criminology and Security Studies (FCJCSS) of the University of Sarajevo visited the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, where a program was organized for students to learn about the internal organization, work methods, achieved results, as well as the history of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH in the past 22 years of work and existence of this judicial institution.
The students were met by a Prosecutor from the Corruption Section, an investigator from the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption - a former student of this faculty, as well as a representative of the Witness Support Department and the employees of the Public Relations Department.
After hearing the most important information about the work of the Prosecutor’s Office, the students were able to ask questions from all areas of interest to them, within the jurisdiction of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH. The students were particularly interested in the way the prosecution cooperates with partner police and security institutions, as well as in general about the role of the institution within the system of institutions and law enforcement agencies of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At the end of the visit, the students were given a tour of the building and facilities of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
Student visits are activities that are implemented within the framework of the institution’s cooperation with students, the academic and professional community, and which are also defined by the Communication Strategy of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
