The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina filed an indictment against Ramiz Duraković, born in 1961 in Prijepolje, citizen of Serbia and FR Germany.
He is accused that he, as the commander of 43rd Brigade of the Army of BiH, was responsible for the crimes committed against victims of Serb ethnicity in the area of Čajniče in 1993, because he knew about the crimes committed and did not take any necessary and reasonable measures to punish the perpetrators.
The accused is charged with the criminal offence of War crimes against civilians set out in Article 142 (1) of the Criminal Code of the SFRY.
The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the indictment.
