In accordance with the agreement, a large amount of cigarettes of different brands, which the accused illegally stored and the estimated value of which is about BAM 50,000, will be confiscated for resale. In addition, a suspended prison sentence of one year was proposed, which will not be enforced if the accused does not commit a criminal offence in the next two years, as well as a fine in the amount of BAM 1500.
The proposed sentence is in accordance with the role and responsibility of the accused in the commission of the criminal offence, as well as with court practice in sentencing such criminal offences.
By signing the plea agreement, the accused waives his right to trial, as well as the right to appeal the judgment handed down by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina based on the agreement.
If the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina accepts the agreement, the case will be legally concluded, without conducting court proceedings.
