An investigator of the Special Department for War Crimes is located at the location of Donja Dragotinja in the municipality of Prijedor, where she is coordinating the work of authorised officers involved in the process of exhumation of the remains by order of the prosecutor in charge.
So far, the remains of at least four people have been found in the said locality, which, according to the collected and available information, are assumed to belong to victims of Bosniak ethnicity.
Representatives of the Institute for Missing Persons (IMO) of BiH, the International Commission for Missing Persons (ICMP) to BiH, a forensic medicine doctor, necessary workers and machinery, and police officers of the Police Administration Prijedor are present at the exhumation.
The found remains will be transferred to KIP Šejkovača, near Sanski Most, for further forensic-medical analysis and identification of the victims through DNA sample analysis.
The exhumation process will continue tomorrow.
