The meeting discussed about the most important issues of cooperation between prosecutor’s offices and police agencies, as well as about activities related to the fight against organised crime and corruption.
The Strategic Forum of Chief Prosecutors and Directors of Police Agencies in BiH, which is supported by the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH (HJPC) through the Project of Strengthening Prosecutorial Capacity in the Criminal Justice System of the HJPC of BiH, was held today in Sarajevo at the premises of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Federation of BiH.
The topics of the meeting of the Strategic Forum related to the review of the results of the measures and activities undertaken in the prosecution of corruption and organised crime cases, with a focus on cases of corruption and organised crime at a high level.
In addition, there was a discussion about the proposal of a solution relating to the activities of the police and prosecutor’s offices with regard to cryptocurrencies, and about the Guidelines on the Activities and Cooperation of the Police and Prosecutor’s Offices in Informing the Public.
The meeting of the Strategic Forum was attended by Milanko Kajganić, Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, Munib Halilović, Chief Federation Prosecutor, Željka Radović, Chief Prosecutor of the Republika Srpska Public Prosecutor’s Office, Zekerija Mujkanović, Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Brčko District of BiH, Darko Ćulum, Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency - SIPA, Siniša Kostrešević, Director of the Republika Srpska Ministry of Internal Affairs, Vahidin Munjić, Director of the Federation Police Administration, Goran Pisić, Head of the Police of Brčko District of BiH, and Amila Rahić and Aleksandra Todorović, representatives of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH.
