THE SUSPECT IN THE SKY CASE OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH EXTRADITED FROM TÜRKYIE

The judicial institutions of the Republic of Türkiye extradited to Bosnia and Herzegovina the suspect Almir Serdarević (1975), who is under investigation in the case of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH with evidence obtained from the Sky and Anom applications.

This suspect was inaccessible to the BiH judiciary for a long time and resided abroad, and a warrant was issued after him, after which, through the work of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and partner institutions, he was located and identified in the Republic of Türkiye, when activities were initiated to extradite him to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After the extradition and taking over of the suspect, a hearing was held in the Court of BiH regarding the motion for ordering a custody measure, at which the prosecutor explained the custody motion in detail.

Given that the case is in the investigation phase, the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH cannot provide more details and information to the public at this time.
