A Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office issued an indictment against Slobodan Savić AKA Zenica, born in 1970 in Zenica, for war crimes against civilians and prisoners of war, committed in the Banja Luka Military-Investigative Prison, known as Mali Logor, in the period from April 1994 to December 1995.
The accused acted in the capacity of a guard in the said facility and the criminal offenses he committed include beatings, abuses and other inhuman acts committed against several victims, civilians and prisoners of war of Bosniak and Croat nationality.
The prosecutor’s office will prove the allegations of the indictment with the testimony of a significant number of witnesses, including victims who were detained in this facility, as well as by submitting several hundred pieces of evidence.
The accused is charged with War Crimes Against Civilans and War Crimes Against Prisoners of War.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation.
