A Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina filed an indictment against Savo Papić, born in 1976 in Nikšić, citizen of Montenegro, who is in custody.
The charges against the defendant are that on June 15 this year, he as a member of an organised group of people, carried out the illicit international trafficking in the narcotic drug “marijuana skank” in the amount of 35,532 kg from the territory of Montenegro to the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The accused hid the said narcotic drug packed in PVC bags in a specially made compartment in the floor of the car he was driving, and the found narcotic drug was seized by members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) of BiH after the search.
The defendant is charged with having become a member of an organised group of people and carrying out the illicit international transfer and transportation of substances declared by regulation to be narcotic drugs, thereby committing the criminal offence of illegal traffic in narcotic drugs under Article 195 (2) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
