As part of the EU4JUSTICE project, the Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office BiH, Milanko Kajganić, met with officials from the judicial institutions of the Republic of France.
The delegation was headed by Anthony Manwaring, the representative for European and international relations of the French Ministry of Justice, and the delegation also included the Liaison Officer for Southeast Europe, the Security Attaché of France to BiH, officials in charge of international and institutional cooperation, as well as a representative who is also an EU4JUSTICE project manager.
The meeting discussed the activities of the EU4JUSTICE project, as well as the international cooperation of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH with the partner institutions of the Republic of France, with which the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH had extremely good cooperation in the past period.
Chief Prosecutor Kajganić highlighted the assistance that the judiciary and police of France provided in the work on cases with evidence from the Sky and Anom applications, in which significant mutual legal assistance came exactly from France.
Within the framework of the EU4JUSTICE project, the strengthening of international cooperation between institutions from the EU countries and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the fight against organised international and cross-border crime is achieved as an important segment for strengthening the rule of law.
