WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF IMPLEMENTING ACTIVITIES IN THE EU ACCESSION PROCESS, A SPECIALIST TRAINING IN THE FIELD OF FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL TO BE HELD IN THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE

A specialist training in the field of financial management and control, which includes risk assessment systems, internal financial control, and forecasting and assessment of potential risks and difficulties, as well as their overcoming, was held at the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.

The area of financial management and control is a segment specified in documents in the process of accession of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the EU, as well as in the Stabilisation and Association Agreement.

The specialist training, which was attended by members of the Working Group for Financial Management and Control from the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, was held by Mrs Abida Ćatić from the Central Harmonisation Unit of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH.

The financial management and control system is based on the definition of internal procedures, assessment of business risk management and their reduction, and in order to predict potential difficulties and risks that may appear in the work of the institution, as well as reducing the aforementioned risks, ensuring uninterrupted work and business, as well as establishment of mechanisms for overcoming difficulties that arise in practice.

The Prosecutor’s Office BiH is active in the processes of improving the quality of management and fulfilling the obligations facing the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the process of accession to the EU.
