A Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued an indictment against Zoran Brzica, born in 1963 in Donji Mamići in Grude, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
According to the indictment, the accused Brzica is charged with having, in order to obtain illegal property gain, illegally engaged in the illegal circulation of excise products, i.e. with having used a tobacco cutting machine to illegally produce a large amount of tobacco with the intent of selling it although was not marked with control and tax stamps in the manner prescribed by the tax legislation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the search of the family house in Grude, which was carried out by authorized officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency, 173 kg of cut tobacco were found and confiscated, as well as an electric machine for cutting tobacco.
The accused is charged with having committed the criminal offense of Illicit Trade in Excise Products under Article 210a, paragraph 1 of the CC of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation.
