INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR ILLICIT INTERNATIONAL TRAFFICKING IN NARCOTIC DRUGS

A Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued an indictment against: Davud ŠABIĆ, born in 1995 in Offenbach am Main - Federal Republic of Germany, citizen of BiH.

The accused is charged with having, in the month of February 2022, with the intention of obtaining illegal property gain, performed illicit procurement and international trafficking of narcotic drugs "Amphetamine" in the amount of 15.78 kg and 512 tablets of methylenedioxymethamphetamine ecstasy (MDMA) from the territory of the EU countries into Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The aforementioned narcotic drug reaches a value of several tens of thousands BAM on the illegal drug market.

The accused hid the mentioned narcotic drug packed in PVC bags in the fuel tank of the car he was driving. The found narcotic drug was confiscated by members of the Federal Police Department after the search.

The accused is charged with illicit international transfer, transportation, possession and export of substances declared to be narcotic drugs in order to obtain illegal property gain, thereby committing the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The indictment was forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation.
