The accused, Nachinkin Nataliia (1989), a citizen of Ukraine, pleaded guilty to the criminal offense of International Enticing Persons into Prostitution under Article 187, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in conjunction with Article 29 of the same Code.
The concluded plea agreement provided for a prison sentence of 1 year and one month, as well as confiscation of items used in the commission of the crime.
With the Plea Agreement the accused fully accepted responsibility for the criminal offense charged by the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and waived the right to a trial, as well as the right to appeal the verdict handed down by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina based on the agreement.This case is a part of an extensive investigation, including mutual legal assistance and communication with partner institutions and agencies, and the indictment states that the accused, in order to obtain illegal property benefits, recruited foreign women, mainly from Ukraine and Russia, and brought them to Bosnia and Herzegovina, found accommodation and used them to provide sexual services for money.
After consideration the agreement was accepted by the Court and the accused was sentenced to the above sentence.
