An investigator of the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH is out in the field, at a location in Grahovci - Kiseljak municipality, where he coordinates the work of authorized officials participating in the process of exhumation and search for missing persons.
The remains of at least one person were found at the location, which will be transported to the PUC City Cemetery Visoko for further forensic medical examination and determination of the person’s identity through DNA analysis.
According to the information available, it is most likely a victim of Bosniak ethnicity.
An investigator from the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a doctor - forensic pathologist, representatives of the Institute for Missing Persons (IIMP) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, workers and machinery of the Pokop Sarajevo company participated in the exhumation process, and the location was secured and crime investigation and technical support provided by the police officers of the Central Bosnia Canton MoI.
