INDICTMENT FILED FOR THE CRIMINAL OFFENCE OF UNAUTHORISED STORAGE OF GOODS - LARGE QUANTITIES OF PRECIOUS METALS

A prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina filed an indictment against Goran Dimitrić, born in 1959 in Zvornik and Milena Dimitrić, born in 1968 in Loznica, Republic of Serbia.

INDICTMENT FILED FOR THE CRIMINAL OFFENCE OF UNAUTHORISED STORAGE OF GOODS - LARGE QUANTITIES OF PRECIOUS METALS

According to the indictment, the defendants are accused of the unauthorised storage of a large amount of expensive jewellery of various patterns made of precious metals - gold and silver, on which tax is to be paid in compliance with the tax legislation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in non-dedicated rooms, which are not registered for this purpose in accordance with the law.

During the search, authorised officers found and confiscated a large amount of precious metals for which they did not have any documents on the origin of the goods, with a market value of several dozens of thousands of BAM.

The defendants are accused of having committed the criminal offense of Unauthorised storage of goods set out in Article 210b (1) and (2) of Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina in conjunction with Article 29 of the Code.

The indictment was forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation.
