INDICTMENT FILED FOR ATTACK ON AUTHORISED SIPA OFFICERS DURING ACTIVITIES OF DEPRIVATION OF FREEDOM

A prosecutor of the Special Department for Organised Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH filed an indictment against - NEDIM BUKVIĆ, born in 1986 in Doboj, with criminal record, citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It is alleged against the indictee that on 21 December 2020, at the parking lot of the shopping centre in the area of Kraševo-Jelah, Tešanj municipality, while operating a Škoda car, he disobeyed the orders issued by SIPA police officers, who on that occasion were engaged in the work of depriving the perpetrator of criminal offences of their freedom as part of an operational activity with the task of depriving the said Nedim Bukvić of his freedom, and that the accused then attacked the officers by driving at them in a vehicle and causing them physical injuries.

The indictee is charged with having attacked official persons working in the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina while they were performing their security duties, discovering or depriving the perpetrators of criminal offences of their freedom, and with causing bodily harm to the officials, thus committing a criminal offence of Attack against Official Persons on Tasks of Security, Detection and Apprehension of Perpetrators of Criminal Offences under Article 241b (2) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina as read with paragraph 1 thereof.

The indictment was forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation.
