An investigator of the Special Department for War Crimes is in the field, at the site of Kameničko Brdo /Kamenica Hill/, Bratunac, where he is coordinating the process of exhuming the remains of an incomplete body.
The remains were found during the search of the area, and it is assumed that they belong to a victim of Bosniak ethnicity from the area of Srebrenica, from July 1995.
A doctor specialised in forensic medicine, investigators from the Institute for Missing Persons (INO) of BiH, police officers from Police Station Bratunac who secured the location, as well as necessary workers are present at the location.
The remains will be transported to the Public Utility Company ‘Commemorative Centre Tuzla’, for further forensic-medical processing and sample-taking for the process of identifying the person through DNA analysis.
