INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR ILLICIT INTERNATIONAL TRAFFICKING IN NARCOTIC DRUG “ECSTASY”

A prosecutor of the Special Department for Organised Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has filed an indictment against Stanko Josipović, born in 1997 in Bijeljina, where he resides.

The accused is charged that in February this year, in the vehicle he operated, he transported a quantity of about half a kilogram (496,017 grams) of the narcotic drug “Ecstasy” in the form of tablets.

The accused attempted to smuggle the said narcotic drug into the Republic of Serbia via the Rača border crossing, but was discovered and prevented by the BiH Border Police officers who found the narcotic drug and deprived the suspect of his freedom.

The stated amount of narcotics was seized and its value on the illegal drug market reaches the value of several thousand BAM.

The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation, which confirmed it.
