The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH sent a motion to extend custody for another two months for the suspect Dragan Šojić (1961), Director of the Service for Joint Affairs of BiH Institutions, who is under investigation for criminal offences of corruption.
Custody for the said suspect was requested due to the reasons provided for in Article 132 (1) (a) and (b) of the Criminal Procedure Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, that is, due to the risk of flight, as well as due to the risk that the suspect might obstruct the investigation, conceal evidence and influence witnesses or accomplices.
The aforementioned measure has been proposed to ensure the unhindered performance of investigative actions to be carried out in this case.At the today’s hearing in the Court of BiH, the prosecutor in charge explained in detail the motion to extend custody.
