BiH BORDER POLICE MEMBER PLEADS GUILTY FOR CORRUPTION

The accused Senad Samardžić, aka “Kićo”, born in 1973, employed as a senior inspector of the BiH Border Police, pleaded guilty to the criminal offence of corruption - receiving a gift or other benefit for trading in influence.

The said accused admitted that for the amount of money he received as unlawful property gain, by exploiting and abusing his official position, he promised the unlawful return of the motor vehicle that was seized within official activities of the Border Police of the Border Police Unit Velika Kladuša.

In accordance with the guilty plea agreement, the accused was sentenced to 8 months in prison, as well as confiscation of unlawful property gain.

In addition, the accused was removed from service in the BiH Border Police.

After the hearing, the Court of BiH accepted the guilty plea agreement.
