PERSON ACCUSED OF ILLICIT INTERNATIONAL TRAFFICKING IN NARCOTIC DRUGS SENTENCED TO TWO YEARS IN PRISON

The accused Mirza Hodžić (1988) signed a Plea Agreement admitting his guilt and was subsequently sentenced to imprisonment for a term of two (2) years by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

PERSON ACCUSED OF ILLICIT INTERNATIONAL TRAFFICKING IN NARCOTIC DRUGS SENTENCED TO TWO YEARS IN PRISON

He was found guilty of the criminal offence of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs, referred to in Article 195, paragraph 1 as read with paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In this case, the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina is prosecuting an organized criminal group which carried out unauthorized international sale and purchase, transfer, transportation, possession, and mediation in further international sale and purchase of ‘cannabis’ narcotic drugs and ‘speed’  synthetic drugs, and which transported the drugs from the territory of the Republic of Albania to the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and then continued to sell narcotics.

Pursuant to the Plea Agreement, unlawful material gain in the amount of 2,000 euros, obtained during the commission of the crime, will be seized from the accused, together with the means used to commit the criminal offence, including a mobile phone with the corresponding SIM card.

Having considered the Plea Agreement, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina accepted the Plea Agreement and sentenced the aforementioned accused person.
