As part of the Regional Meeting of Prosecutors, several bilateral meetings were held, including the aforementioned meeting of war crimes prosecutors.
A meeting of delegations of the two Prosecutor’s Offices, led by Chief Prosecutor Gordana Tadić and Serbian War Crimes Prosecutor Snežana Stanojković, was held in Belgrade to discuss current issues in the field of judicial cooperation between these institutions.
The meeting discussed regional co-operation in the fight against impunity for war crimes in the region, as well as recent events. In addition, the importance of timely exchange of information between the Prosecutor’s Offices was emphasised, in which other competent state institutions should also be involved.
The meeting of the delegations of war crimes prosecutors was joined by the Republic Public Prosecutor of Serbia, Zagorka Dolovac, who greeted Chief Prosecutor Tadić and the delegation from Bosnia and Herzegovina and gave her full support to cooperation between prosecutorial institutions of the two countries, both in war crimes cases and in joint efforts to prosecute organised crime.
