Custody was proposed, among other things, because of the risk that the suspect, who has the citizenship of another state, will flee.
After interviewing the suspect, a prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH submitted a motion that the following suspect be ordered into custody:
- Jasmin Mulahusić, born in 1976 in Luxembourg, citizen of BiH and Luxembourg.
The suspect is under investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and is charged with provoking national, racial and religious hatred, discord and intolerance under Article 145a of the Criminal Code of BiH.
The mentioned suspect was arrested by police officers of the BiH Border Police.
The custody motion for the suspect, who is linked to terrorist activities, was submitted for the reasons described in Article 132 (1) (a), (b) and (c) of the Criminal Procedure Code of BiH, i.e. due to the risk of flight, the risk that he could obstruct the investigation, conceal evidence and exert influence on witnesses or accomplices, as well as repeat a criminal offence or complete the attempted one.
The suspect is under investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and is charged with placing insulting messages on national and religious bases in public over a long period of time, via social networks and the Internet, which grossly insult the religious and national feelings of citizens in Bosnia and Herzegovina, made and placed various photo and video montages that spread ethnic and religious hatred and intolerance between the peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
A motion to order custody has been sent to the Court of BiH, and the Prosecutor’s Office is continuing an intensive investigation into the case.
