Having received the information, the duty prosecutor gave instructions to police officers regarding further actions in the case.
Acting within the 24-hour duty, the prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina received information from the Gacko Police Department that, during their regular control, they had discovered two (2) citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina who had been attempting to smuggle eleven (11) migrants of Afro-Asian origin in the Gacko area, near the state border with the Republic of Montenegro.
The duty prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina gave instructions to the police officers to conduct all necessary investigative actions in collecting relevant data on the committed criminal offense, and a report on the committed criminal offense of Smuggling of Persons will be submitted against the suspected citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Judging from the collected evidence and their statements, the found illegal migrants come from the territory of Pakistan, and they will be handed over to further jurisdiction of the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
