CUSTODY PROPOSED FOR SUSPECT OSMAN MEHMEDAGIĆ (1962)

Following the questioning of the suspect Osman Mehmedagić, a motion for custody in relation to this suspect was sent by the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina within the legally prescribed time limit. 

Custody is proposed for the reasons described in Article 132, items b) and d), that is, due to the danger that, if at large, the suspect could hinder the investigation, conceal evidence, and influence witnesses or accessories, as well as for the reason that the release of the suspect could cause disturbance to the public and citizens, given that elements of security breaches, related to the deprivation of liberty of the aforementioned suspect, have already been registered.

Osman Mehmedagić is subject to investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, due to the following criminal offenses: Abuse of Office or Official Authority, Forging Official Documents and Money Laundering.

The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina is resuming its intensive investigation in this case.
