ON ORDER OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BiH, SEARCHES ARE CARRIED OUT AT SEVERAL LOCATIONS IN BiH

As part of the investigation into the Dženan Memić’s death being conducted by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency of BiH, Federation Police Administration and Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior, acting on the order of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and on orders of the Court of BiH, are carrying out searches at several locations in the territory of Sarajevo, Zenica and Banja Luka, for the purpose of collecting evidence.

The activities are carried out within the case on which the Prosecutor’ Office of BiH is working intensively, and which refers to the criminal offence of organised crime in connection with the obstruction of investigation and concealing evidence, all in connection with the death of young Dženan Memić in February 2016.

Two people, whose premises are being searched, are officers of the Directorate for Coordination of BiH Police Bodies.

The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH is continuing an intensive investigation in this case.
