EXHUMATION OF VICTIM FROM PAST WAR COMPLETED IN DERVENTA MUNICIPALITY

Under the supervision of the Prosecutor in charge of the case, an investigator of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina was coordinating the work of authorized officers who participated in the exhumation process at the exhumation site.

At the location of the Prvi Kvart Cemetery in Derventa municipality, a process of exhumation and search for the mortal remains of a person missing from the past war was carried out.

The found mortal remains will be transported to the Commemorative Center in Tuzla for further forensic processing and identification of the victim whose mortal remains were found. The exhumation was carried out with the participation of officers from the Missing Persons’ Institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina and a medical doctor specializing in forensic medicine, as well as police officers from the Derventa Police Station.

The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with all the institutions involved in the process of searching for and identifying missing persons, continues its intensive activities aimed at searching for missing persons in all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
