JADRANKA LOKMIĆ-MISIRAČA (1955), LONG-TIME PROSECUTOR OF BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE AND ACTING CHIEF PROSECUTOR FROM 2011 TO 2013, DIES IN SARAJEVO

The staff of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina extends sincere condolences to the family of the deceased colleague.

Prosecutor Jadranka Lokmić-Misirača died in Sarajevo at the age of 66, after long illness.

Jadranka Lokmić-Misirača graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Sarajevo, in 1980.

Prosecutor Lokmić-Misirača has been employed with the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina since the end of 2003, almost since the institution’s establishment, and during her work and engagement in the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, she performed the duties of a Prosecutor and the Head of the Department III, as well as of a Deputy Chief Prosecutor and Acting Chief Prosecutor, and she was also a member and Vice-President of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

She was a member of several working and professional bodies in the field of judicial reform and strengthening the rule of law.

With great sadness, the staff of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina is saying goodbye to its long-time colleague.
