MOTION SUBMITTED TO EXTEND CUSTODY FOR HASAN DUPOVAC AND ZIJAD MUTAP

The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has sent a motion to the Court of BiH to extend the custody measure for the above-mentioned suspects for the next three months as part of the investigation into the death of Dženan Memić.

The custody measure was proposed for the reasons described in Article 132 (b) and (d) of the Criminal Procedure Code of BiH, i.e. due to the risk that by remaining at large they could obstruct the investigation, conceal evidence and influence witnesses or accomplices, as well as for special circumstances of the crime because of which the stay of the suspects at large would cause disturbance to citizens and the public.

The motion was forwarded to the Court of BiH.

The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has expanded the investigation in this case and will continue performing its intensive investigative activities in the coming period.
