The meeting discussed the submitted HJPC BiH letter regarding the harmonisation of the work of judicial institutions with their headquarters in the Sarajevo Canton.
The Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, Gordana Tadić, held a meeting of the Coordination Team of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH regarding activities related to the prevention and suppression of the spread of Covid 19.
It was pointed out at the meeting that measures and activities have been taken in order to ensure the work and maintain the functionality of the institution and also in order to maintain the epidemiological protection of employees and persons who come into contact with the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Considering that the epidemiological situation in all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina and especially in the Sarajevo Canton has deteriorated, the submitted document of the HJPC BiH indicated the need to harmonise the work of courts and prosecutor’s offices seated in the Sarajevo Canton.
The conclusion of the meeting is that in the coming period tasks and activities are to be organised in accordance with the schedule of hearings and activities of the Court of BiH in such a way to work on urgent and non-delayable cases in order to maintain work processes and reduce the frequency of employees in the offices, in line with the recommendations for fight against Covid-19 pandemic.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 10 meetings of the Coordination Team have been held in the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH in order to ensure the performance of work processes and the achievement of better results while providing the necessary epidemiological protection for the employees and all persons coming into contact with the Prosecutor’s Office.
The Coordination Team will monitor the further development of the situation with Covid-19 pandemic.
