INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR UNAUTHORISED TRADE IN EXCISE PRODUCTS

A prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has filed an indictment against:

-          YILDIZ CUNEYT, born in 1969 in Iskenderun, Republic of Turkey, a citizen of the Republic of Turkey, and

-          the legal entity ANTALYA d.o.o. /Ltd/ Sarajevo, whose responsible person and director without limitation of authority is YILDIZ CUNEYT.

It is alleged against the accused that in July 2019 they illegally kept in the retail outlet of the legal entity excise goods of foreign origin - hookah aromas of various tastes, in the amount of 169.15 kilos the value of which was estimated at BAM 23,962.92, that is, that they put on the market and sold to known customers products not labelled with control and tax stamps in the manner as prescribed by the tax legislation of BiH.

In the commission of the criminal offence they were detected by authorised officials of the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH.

The accused are charged with having committed the criminal offence of Illicit Trafficking in Excise Products under Article 210a of the Criminal Code of BiH.

The indictment has been forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
