OPERATION CODENAMED ‘LIPA’ CONTINUES, DUE TO CRIMES OF CORRUPTION; ONE POLICE OFFICER OF UNA-SANA CANTON MINISTRY OF INTERIOR DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY
21.12.2020. 21:13These activities have been carried out under the supervision of the Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina assigned to the case, who is present in the field, coordinating the activities of police officers.
As the investigation in the operation codenamed ‘LIPA’ continues, in which more than 20 persons are suspected of organized crime, smuggling of illegal migrants, illicit trafficking in weapons and explosives and money laundering, one police officer of the Ministry of the Interior of the Una-Sana Canton was deprived of liberty in the Bihać area by the police officers of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The suspected police officer is charged with the criminal offences committed by corrupt behavior and abuse of official authority and information.
Intensive investigation in the "Lipa" case continues.
