CHIEF PROSECUTOR MEETS WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF RED CROSS SOCIETIES

The Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, Gordana Tadić, together with her associates, met with representatives of the Red Cross of Bosnia and Herzegovina (DCKBiH), Secretary General Rajko Lazić and Head of the Search Service Elvira Šišić.

The meeting discussed the modalities of cooperation between the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and the DCKBiH, especially in the field of work on cases of exhumations, discoveries and identification of missing persons, together with domestic and international organisations working together in this humanitarian area.

There was also discussion about the importance of the DCKBiH in providing assistance to migrants, who are in the territory of BiH, and especially in the segment when it happens that a person from the migrant population dies in BiH.

The Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH thanked the representatives of the DCKBiH for their cooperation to date. The representatives of the DCKBiH expressed their interest in attending the meetings of the Task Force for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings and Organised Illegal Migration in the future considering the competence of this Task Force.
