Dear media representatives,

Upon receiving a number of inquiries, we would like to inform you that the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued an Order to Conduct Investigation against Osman Mehmedagić – Director General of the BiH Intelligence-Security Agency OSA, Selmo Cikotić – Minister of Security in the Council of Ministers of BiH, and Muriz Druškić – a retired senior staff member of OSA BiH and a current member of the Second-Instance Commission for Handling Complaints in Security Clearance Cases within the BiH Council of Ministers.

They are charged with having committed the criminal offence of Abuse of Office or Authority in connection with the illegal appointment and participation in the work of the Commission, which has resulted in the creation of general legal uncertainty for handling security clearance cases.
