CHIEF PROSECUTOR GORDANA TADIĆ MEETS WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF COUNTERING SERIOUS CRIME IN WESTERN BALKANS – IPA 2019 PROJECT

Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, Gordana Tadić, met with the representatives of the Project for Countering Serious Crime in the Western Balkans (CSCWB) – IPA 2019 with the aim of summing up the activities and achieved results from the previous phase, which were financed from IPA 2017, as well as with the aim of planning future activities in BiH, in cooperation with countries of the Western Balkans and in cooperation with EU institutions and networks of importance for the fight against organised crime.

This Project is co-financed by the European Commission, the German Government and Italian Government and its implementation is carried out by GIZ from Germany, CILC from the Netherlands and Italian Ministry of Interior.

The Chief Prosecutor spoke with Malči Gabrijelčić, leaving EU resident representative of the Project to BiH and Alenka Ranzinger, who has been appointed a new EU resident prosecutor, together with the Project Legal Advisor for BiH, Amina Mašović.

The CSCWB – IPA 2019 Project is of extreme importance for the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and the process of strengthening the rule of law and is especially important for prosecutors and employees of the Special Department for Organised Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption who are actively participating in numerous international operations aimed at combating cross-border crime, together with partner institutions from the countries of the region and the EU.
