LARGER QUANTITIES OF EXCISE GOODS SEIZED IN OPERATION CONDUCTED BY PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH AND ITA OF BIH

In a coordinated operation conducted under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, authorised officials of the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) BiH, in several separate operations, discovered and seized a significant quantity of cigarettes and tobacco, as well as other items used to commit the crime.

During searches at several location, a large quantity of tobacco and cigarettes without excise stamps, intended for sale at the black market, were discovered and seized.

The seized excise goods reach a value of about BAM 180.000.

The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and law enforcement agencies of our country are determined to counter committing financial crime offences in times of emergency.
