The accused persons Radovan Paprica (1953) and Slavko Ognjenović (1965) are charged with crimes against humanity committed in the area of Foča, in 1992.
Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued an Indictment against the following persons:
1. Radovan Paprica aka ‘Papro’, born in 1953 in Foča
2. Slavko Ognjenović aka ‘Mačak’ born in 1965 in Foča.
These accused persons are charged with acting, as a members of the Republika Srpska Army, in contravention of the provisions of the Geneva Convention Relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, during the war and the widespread and systematic attack against the civilian Bosniak population from the area of Foča and its surroundings.
These persons are charged with war crimes involving rape and sexual abuse in wartime, which has left serious consequences on injured parties.
The aforementioned accused persons are charged with the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity, referred to in Article 172 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Indictment has been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation.
