Central topics of the meeting pertained to the discussions on the current situation and future activities relating to the return of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina from foreign battlefields.
A meeting of the Task Force for Fight Against Terrorism and Strengthening Capacities for Fight Against Terrorism was held at the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and it was chaired by the Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ms. Gordana Tadić. The meeting was attended by Directors and officials of police agencies at the state and entity-level and the level of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as by officials of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and entity-level and Brčko District prosecutor’s offices, and security and law enforcement agencies.
Central topics of the meeting were related to the analysis of the situation regarding the return of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina from foreign battlefields and their acceptance and prosecution in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as future steps and activities to be undertaken by law enforcement agencies, which are necessary for the implementation of this process.
The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with its partner police and security agencies from both Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad, continues to undertake intensive activities aimed at detecting, preventing and prosecuting terrorist offenses, with the involvement of all institutions in accordance with their respective competencies, as such is the position of the Task Force as well.
