Chief Prosecutor Gordana Tadić, who is a member of the Steering Committee of the EU4JUSTICE Project "Support to the Fight against Organized Crime and Corruption in BiH", met with the officials of the EU4JUSTICE project which is implemented in Bosnia and Herzegovina by the implementation body of the French Ministry of Justice in charge of international judicial cooperation - GIP Justice Coopération Internationale (JCI), with the financial support of the European Union.
The delegation was headed by Ms. Isabelle Arnal, Team Leader of EU4JUSTICE and the expert of this project, Mr. Bernard Rabatel.
At the meeting, the Chief Prosecutor pointed out that the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH is committed to cooperating with the project, which greatly facilitates the exchange of experiences between EU experts and prosecutors and legal officers of this prosecutor’s office, who will receive training in organized crime and corruption field.
A study visit of a technical nature was organized within the project and the Chief Prosecutor nominated Prosecutor Mirza Hukeljić to participate. This meeting was also organized in preparation of this visit and the visit by senior officials planned for next year, within which the Chief Prosecutor, Gordana Tadić, will participate.
This project is implemented through HJPC BiH and will cover all prosecutor’s offices in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The BiH Prosecutor’s Office is involved in several projects dedicated to the exchange of experiences in strengthening prosecutorial capacities and international cooperation with EU institutions.
