The accused is charged with participating in the smuggling of four (4) illegal migrants from the territory of Syria early last year, who did not fulfill the conditions for their legal stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued an Indictment against the following person:
- Luka Miličević, born in 1982 in Dubrovnik, residing in Trebinje, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The accused is charged with agreeing to participate in the smuggling of four illegal migrants from the territory of Syria, in February of 2018, who had illegally entered Bosnia and Herzegovina from the territory of Montenegro and did not have valid passports, nor did they fulfill the conditions for their legal stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He also agreed to transport them through Bosnia and Herzegovina and towards the EU countries, all for the purpose of acquiring unlawful material gain.
The aforementioned accused was detected during the commission of the said criminal offence and was prevented from doing it by the police officers of the Trebinje Police Administration.
The accused is charged with the commission of the criminal offence of Smuggling of Persons, as referred to in Article 189, Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
